FS2Crew for B777

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I recently downloaded FS2Crew 777. Very impressive indeed. I learned how to "go" about with a video posted online by Froogle. All very good, no

problem. Like the real thing.   But one thing I don't understand.   In the real world Airliners fly IFR, right?  At least where available.   Well on this

video, it flies and lands without one word or communication from ATC?!  Is this just to show how  things work, in the real life, up there, without

any permission to land and all the rest, or Airliners really fly like that?  I always heard they fly IFR.   I do realize that a pilot is a person with a very

sharp brain, but that's flying alone, so to speak...   I'm sure a lot of other simmers would be asking this question in due time.

Thanking in advance.

I'm not a Froogle fan, but I recall he does not generally utilise ATC when making his videos. I would also be wary of using FSX videos to see how it's done in the actual aircraft. I can recommend a good flight deck video as these can be very informative (although procedures change with time and from airline to airline).

All what Froogle is showing  is how  fs2crew works  with the t7,  if he wanted  to show  how atc  works  than he would  do a video  on atc

Hi Paul,

Ok I understand now. Froogle just wanted to illustrate how  FSCrew works.

And yes please do send me the link for the video on the real flight deck procedure. Would like to see it.

In future I'll have to post my questions on 'Hangar Chat' as these  questions I had are  Off Topic.

Thank you.
