Now we need ground textures. Yes @Tony many areas in XPX the ground textures look very bad e.g. CYBA i just noticed it.

 

If you watch something like Flying Wild Alaska or Ice Pilots, you can pretty much see that there isn't much here anyway. I've never been to this part of the world, so I'm going off what I see on television, but I'd imagine in the flat areas, it's probably about as uninteresting as it is in the sim (with some variation). Of course in these TV shows, they only show the most interesting parts, what they don't show is that the pilots probably sit there flying across a flat/white landscape for hours on end before something interesting happens.

Also wish there was better ground textures or a commercial product with good photo scenery.
