January 18, 201511 yr Hello, I recently got a computer (about a month ago) and everything was working fine. Then a week later I loaded the PMDG 737 NGX and FSX started to give me mid flight crashes. The screen becomes unresponsive then the blue loading circle comes up. A couple seconds after that it closes and says FSX fatal error, windows looking for solution. I have tried a lot of things but none have seemed to work. Next time I get the crash I will try to get the error code. If there are any question dont be afraid to ask. Thanks, Xplosion

January 20, 201511 yr I think this is what you are talking about. I dont know if its right because its really long. If not could you tell me where to find it. I did get AppCrashView This is the correct version. Thanks. The faulting module was the PMDG_737NGX.dll. According to the AVSIM CTD Guide the following is a possible fix: PMDG_737NGX.dll – Removing the uiautomationcore.dll from the main FSX directory has fixed this crash - http://forum.avsim.net/topic/350915-pmdg-737ngxdll-crash/. Could have been a wrong version of the uiautomationcore.dll (that some say fixes all FSX crashes). Check throttle or controller connected to your computer. Make sure you are using the drivers that came with the device. Might be a conflict using FSUIPC utility control features for your controller. January 20, 201511 yr Author So removing the uiautomationcore.dll out of the fsx root directory should fix the problem. Thanks Xplosion

Best regards, I looked in the main Program Files x82 - MicrosoftGames etc I could not find that file in the main FSX directory folder. Either im looking in the wrong place or I dont have it at all. If you could help this would be great. Also in AppCrashView it has reasons on why It stopped and a couple are stopped working and some are stopped responding. The one I posted earlier was a stopped working. If you need the stopped responding error code I would be more than happy to post it. Thanks for your help, Xplosion
January 21, 201511 yr If you do not have the uiautomationcore.dll in your main fsx folder (and it is not required), then your problem is most likely the throttle or controller connected to your computer. Are you using the settings that came with your throttle/controller or are you using another utility like FSUIPC to program the keys? You can also try moving the USB connection from your throttle/controller to another USB port on your computer. In other words, many found a conflict with the throttle drivers, throttle connection, or settings. These are the only two possible solutions to the PMDG_737NGX.dll that I found on the Internet (via Google searches) for the AVSIM CTD Guide. If these do not fix your problem, then you should go to the PMDG website and submit a trouble ticket and they will assist you in finding a solution. Just tell them the faulting module for your crash was the PMDG_737NGX.dll. Many were unable to find a solution and even PMDG could not find a solution for some but this was some time ago and they may have an easy fix for you. Since you installed FSX in the default folder (which is okay - I did too), it is imperative that you turned off UserAccessControls (UAC), disabled any anti-virus program, and right clicked on the PMDG 737NGX installation program and selected, "Run as Administrator". If you did not do this, it is a great possibility that this is causing your problem. PMDG is very emphatic that their products (and FSX) be installed out of the default folder (such as C:\FSX, D:\FSX) as Microsoft threw in a lot of security for programs being installed in the default folder. You can bypass all of that by turning off UAC and any anti-virus program and installing your products as the Administrator. You also need to make sure FSX starts up with Administrator Privileges. You can check this by going to the main FSX folder and right clicking on FSX.exe, then select Properties, and then open the Compatibility tab. Nothing in the compatibility settings should be enabled but look down at the bottom and make sure Administrative Privilege is enabled. If you do find a solution, maybe one of the above solutions, please let us know so we can make changes to the AVSIM CTD Guide if appropriate. If you do find a solution, maybe one of the above solutions, please let us know so we can make changes to the AVSIM CTD Guide if appropriate.Best regards, Never of actually thought about installing it as administer, but before I reinstalled pmdg I will try to figure out my controls. Would I need to turn off my anti-virus software if I was installing it via disk? Thanks for the help and I will get back to as soon as possible.
