Panel problem, need help!

Featured Replies

It never happened before and really can't find a solution on my own.So, here i am!It happens in cockpit forward view and with every panel: panel.bmp doesn't has same size as background landscape but is slightly smaller! so all around panel.bmp i can see 1 mm. of background image. That's very annoying so, please, can anyone help? Thanks as usual for support and patienceLuigi ;-)

Hey there. I'm not good at metrics, but if the problem is on the edges of the screen, I have had this. I just used the buttons on the front of my monitor and increased the vertical and horizontal size until I could not see the problem at the edges anymore. I have seen this on alot of 2D panel views in the past like I said. See if that works. Best regards, Jeff

Luigi, I have the exact same problem..I believe it has do with the AntiAliasing setting and the video diplay driver on my Nvidia card, combined with the very crisp display on my LCD monitor. Here is what I do routinely to every aircraft in my hangar:In the panel.cfg file, usually the very last paragraph, change the X and Size_X parameters:Default ViewX=5 // changed from X=0Y=0SIZE_X=8181 // changed from 8191SIZE_Y=5643 This is the same as grabbing the outside scenery with the mouse and dragging the left and right sides in, by one pixel.Unfortunately, this only works for the main panel and not for Landing View panels etc.. if anyone has a fix for those as well, please post your findings!!

I have the same problem from time to time. I happens on Nvidia and ATI cards - I don't quite know what causes it unfortunately. I find sometimes when it happens pressing Shift-1 twice to hide and redisplay the panel can solve the problem, other times it does not.
