Playsims / Horizon VFRGenX quickfixes

Featured Replies

Hello all, a plea for help, would some kind soul point me in the right direction.

I am getting a CTD when flying near Prestwick and this seems to be caused by a faulty tile in Playsims/Horizon VFRGenX Vol 8 photoscenery.

I have tried Playsims and Horizon websites and emailed support as advised on the (holding) webpage. All with no reply/success.

Does anybody know where I can download the Horizon quickfixes? I am especially interested in Vol 8 but I understand there are fixes for other volumes also.

Thanks in advance

Gordon

you can find all the Patches here:-

Many Many thanks Dogtrack - Spot on, exactly what I was looking for.

With more thanks and regards

Gordon

Yes, also many thanks Dogtrack, I've just bought GenX Vol 4-10 (at £5 each in Flightstore winter sale) to add to my existing Vol 1-3.

Now, if only I could get Treescapes Vol 7, I'd be a happy TG !

Hi Gordon,

I have the same problem...did you get it fixed ?

It seems so, I can now fly from TRN to EGPH without FSX crashing. The website mentioned above is very helpful on this and other matters. Check it out.
