February 8, 201511 yr Downloaded the full install, uninstalled prior versions, ran the install to install into FSX SE but now when I load up the 777, I don't get the countdown bar and nothing works - also from the outside view no wheels. I have downloaded and installed the latest version of FSUIPC. Can't figure what I am doing wrong.

Most likely you need to install "legacy" simconnect dlls (probably missing if you don't have a dual FSX:MS and FSX:SE installation). Go to: ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces There you should see three subfolders. Each one has a "SimConnect.msi" file in it. For each folder, click on the "SimConnect.msi" file in it to install that version of simconnect. It is safe to install all of them, and indeed may make other addons work as well. Mike

August 3, 201510 yr It's a shame that this update isn't available to people who bought physical copies of the 777. Shame on PMDG it's time they got their fingers out. We too paid enough for it! Robert Langford

This is not the case. I have a disk copy of the NGX and several months ago I was able to download the most recent update from Aerosoft. The 777 update was available to boxed owners at the same time or maybe even a little sooner. Mike
