Not sure if this is the correct place to post this. I downloaded the program from the website yesterday, April 11, 2015 and tried to install the program in Prepar3d several times. Each time the install failed with the following error, VAPanelSelect has stopped working. The last time i watched the install process closely. I watch the install the last couple of times and the program went through setting up index, then proceeded to Processing facility data. The blue progress bar moved smartly across the screen essentially filling up the entire bar, but when the falling was visible in the files section, "g:\lockheed martin\prepar3d v2\orbx\ftx_olc\olc_eu4\scenery\VersOBX.BGL" the program seemed to hang up. It remained motionless for approximately 3 minutes, then processed a few seconds more of facility data, closed that screen then I got the APanelSelect has stopped working message.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are using P3D only as a sim with hotfix 2.5 12944, then 6.50 is the version required. According to the developper Tegwyn, 6.51 (FSX-SE compatible) may have issues with P3D alone.

I am still waiting to find out if 6.50 will work with hotfix 12945, I haven't install that hotfix yet because of compatibility issues with the current GTN750 version.

Make sure version 6.50 is what you have. If not contact Tegwyn on the VOXATC website and request a 6.50 download. If that doesn't work than contact Tegwyn again for more support.

Hope this helps.

Having the same problem :(  I am using version 6.50 and the indexer freezes at this point: c:\lockheed martin\prepar3d v2\scenery\0903\scenery\OBX79300.bgl

I am trying to run Voxatc version 6.50 on prepar3d version 2.5 (the only sim on the PC) with the newest hotfix12945, I have tried editing my prepar3d.cfg to include the missing sim object paths and this does not work and checked p3d in the sim selector.

Any other suggestions would be welcome

It seems I jumped the gun, the indexer finishes but after a huge delay  :Cuppa:

Hi guys, I'm on day 2 of the voxatc demo and I like it a lot.  But the "Joystick and Keyboard Setup" utility is broken for me.  It doesn't save the settings, i.e. I assign press to talk and other items to my CH Fighterstick, the statuses change when I press or release, everything looks good, tell it OK.  I go start a flight and the assignments I gave do not work.  I go back into the joystick setup, and sure enough, it forgot what I had just set up.  Even if I don't start a flight.  It just can't remember!  Over and over.  Am I the only one?  Prepar3d 2.5.

Any clues?

Thanks for the tip.  I hate to bother the guy if it's on my end, but if I can't get it before the demo runs out, I'll email him.

I have to grin @ "cancel" but no, I'm hitting "OK".  Now that I've made this post, I may just ignore the issue altogether and use the keyboard for voxatc. It sure would be nice to get "press for mic" though on the stick.  I'll post again if I figure it out.

I decided to ignore my previous issue and only map the push to talk to the stick.

So one last thing.  I only fly the duke turbine 2 and twin otter extended.  VoxATC works as advertised in the duke, but in the Twotter it will not recognize when I tune the comm radio (voxatc will sit forever waiting for me to tune).  In FO mode it works, but that's it.  I did send an email via the contact page, but in the mean time, any clue what that could be?

I think in the Twin Otter COM1 is set from the Gps unit.

The "classic" radio Bendix shell is COM2 and VoxATC probably don't survey COM2.

You can verifiy with FO active: see which radio is tuned.
