Xplane 10.35b2, Most important addons : Carenado CT206H, UHDMesh V1, World2XPlane, HD Clouds V2.0, Real Terra Haze.

The most annoying thing about X-Plane is that it's stutter-free which makes going to P3D/FSX very difficult indeed.

Nice shots.

I didn't catch this thread the other night, but I recently made a comment about almost not knowing what sim I'm in.  It's having to do with high frame rates, flight models that become more the same due to the perception of smoothness, and what has basically become stutter free, and very fluid for both X-Plane & FSX. I don't have P3D. Until my recent setup, I'm well aware of the infamous FSX stutters. I say basically stutter free, because with certain airport scenery and airplanes, I can still drag the frame rates down (both sims).  Never the less, I do really enjoy X-Planes mountains. Especially at sunset.

Since I switched to Linux, I don't have FSX anymore, so I can not comment.

I found FSX very enoyable, especially with photoscenery, but what put me off were the blurries, even on a high end box (3 years ago).

Stutters, I still get the occasional stutter, because I charge my 16GB fully with this setup.

Soon it will time to add 8 or 16 more (hopefully when X-Plane 10.40 comes out).

And don't forget HDR mode with Real Terra Haze, it can create a really convincing atmosphere.
