FMC android app ...

Featured Replies

Is anyone using this application on their Android with the PMDG 737 for P3D

I was thinking about purchase but no mention of P3D support and seems to indicate it only supports version SP1c of the NGX.

Cheers, Rob.

There is now a new version of VAInterfacelite_2.11.0.11354 for the PMDG SP1d of the NGX. This software needs to be installed on the PC for the Android app to work.

Hansk,

Thank you!  Do you know if it has any performance impact?

Excellent, thank you.

I'm using this app too and I consider it one of the best things I invested money in in a long time. Being able to physically operate the FMC adds a lot to the overall immersion!

Haven't noticed any performance drop or any other issues.

I have this app for iOs and is fantastic !

No performance impact, just fun.

Thanks for all the input ... I'll get this app for my Nexus7 tonight now that I know it is SP1D compatible.  Is there anything special I need to do on the 737NGX side?

I have data broadcast enabled (using with my GoFlight gear).

737NGX_Options.ini:
[sDK]EnableDataBroadcast=1

You're in for a treat, let us know how you like it

IIRC it worked out of the box with zero config but of course your FSX PC and your Android device need to be on the same wifi network.

In case you didn't know Rob, there is a demo version if you want to try it out first. It works fine with the NGX in P3d.

Thanks for all the input ... purchased and installed, tested, very easy to setup, working great and very responsive.

Are these really worth it? I have looked at them in the passed and wondered about them.

Great to hear you liked it Rob.

To me it's worth it without a doubt, as I said above one of the best investments I did for my simming experience.

Would not fly the NGX or T7 without it

Are these really worth it?

The convenience:

1.  Don't have to reach for the mouse

2.  Can place it at eye level so don't have to look down

3.  Less clumsy to operate
