sooo ye my FSX crashes when i start it up just immediately and when i go to event viewer there is no error added to the events and i really dont know what it is but what i do know is that when i have SP2 uninstalled fsx works fine!! please help

Did you install SP 1 first? If not you need to before installing SP2

you havnt by chance  installed fsx   with accel   and trying  to install sp2  are you?

This will happen if you have any FSDT/FlightBeam airports installed.  Just go to FSDT and download the latest Standalone Addon Manager.  This fix is in the AVSIM CTD Guide, page 10.  Another possible solution is removing the logbook.bin and seeing if this fixes the problem.  If so, then move the logbook.bin back and then run the FSX Logbook Repair utility that you can download from the AVSIM Library.
