Not possible to restart failed engine in flight

Featured Replies

In summary:

It seems the OP wants to simulate a V1 cut that does not include severe damage and wants to use FS2CREW to assist in handling the V1 cut procedure.

Manually selecting the fuel OFF will not work for his scenario with FS2CREW.

Having a V1 cut without severe engine damage is a common training procedure, so it is not unusual to ask for this.

It sounds like the flameout option is not working in a useful manner.

At the light of what said above, my question is: PMDG, couldn't it be possible, in a next update, to program failures so that we don't have only a severe engine damage or an auto relight, but also a failure with N1/N2 rotation below idle, that gives the possibility of doing an inflight restart?

Thanks.
