QW757, as seen by pmdg-pilots.

I still think it's the best 757 that's been done thusfar for FS. QW's stuff got significantly more complex with their BAe-146/Avro RJ product too - I hope they revisit the 757 and redo it up to that standard some day.

I agree with this.

Doubt that will happen with their 787 and 737 both being current projects.

They've hinted at considering a clean sheet 757v2 before on their own forums. Wouldn't be too surprised if that's announced in a year or two (since their 787 and 737 will take time).

Agreed, Brett.  You can't go wrong with any of them and all should be in everyone's hangar.

I kinda wanted this to be a domestic companion to a 737/A320, the VC in this 757 looked very good and the "light" FMS wouldn't be a problem if not for the inaccuracy AP and low-precision programming, confirmed by some posters. It is "light" but it is veeeeeerrryyyyy difficult to fly, because you have to learn to fly this in a certain way to compensate for the inaccurate/unprecise AP functionality.

I did few 757 flights in the past few days, and... oh boy :-(

- Enough, today I'm back to my NGX, just reached my crz alt FDFW-KDEN. Beautiful and smooth, sharp autopilot, sharp flying. Awesome fun.

The CS is probably better as far as programming goes, but that VC... it just doesn't have that 757 feel, I can't convince myself I am flying a 757. Have to give up on the 757 simulation.
