**My Links to Great FREEWARE Add-Ons**Hi all,Well by reading some of the responses here in the forums, one would think you have to spend a whole bunch of money buying add-ons to gain any sense of enjoyment out of FS. :-lol :-lolI disagree with that, and I recommend you try some of the excellent FREEWARE add-ons available without having to simply take the word of someone whether a product is good or not.Not knowing what your system specs are, I would be cautious before simply buying anything, I've read quite a few threads here about stutters, slide show performance, low FPS, etc. with all kinds of payware add-ons. Equally however, there will always be some who claim outstanding performance no matter what add-on is released. :-lol :-lol Buyer beware, IMHO.So what I have done for the members here, is put together an alternative list of FREEWARE add-ons which I use and have gained some enjoyment out of using. My list is neither complete, nor all encompassing. Hope Your Ready: :-)*************Fly-by Camera*************FREEWARE camera Views = FSCamera 1.5, an Alternative to Active Camera. Provides Airport View, Fly-By View, approach View, etc...http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...util&DLID=60411****************Voice recognition Software****************FREEWARE Voice recognition Software = Flight Assistant (Like having your own co-pilot, also with readbacks)Main Program here:http://www.linder-network.de/thelindercomp...tassistant.html(you must also follow the instructions as you will need some additional files.)Cessna 172 Voice Profile, by me of course. :-) I recommend using it with the Real Air FREEEWARE Cessna 172.http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...misc&DLID=58334*****************FREEWARE AIRCRAFT*****************FREEWARE Cessna 172 by Real Air, an alternative to payware 172's, and the default 172. Great Advice Scott.I also segment out the "What's New" by choosing, what's new, order by category, and then scan mode. Ususally do this on Tuesday so the whole weekend is included.Regards,Joeaopa.gif" border="0" alt="Grab My FREEWARE Voice recognition Profiles here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=58334]Cessna 172 Voice Profile[/a][a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=60740]FSD Avanti Voice Profile[/a].You will need the main FREEWARE Flight Assistant program to use it, get it here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=genutils&DLID=39661]Flight Assistant 2.2[/a]

Hi,Glad you enjoyed the links. There is plenty to go around, and many great contributors. This weekend alone has produced some worthy add-ons to the list including the B-29 Super Fortress as well as the Beech.Hers is an interesting one I grabbed today. It's called Animal Simulation, and let's you apparently fly an Eagle, A flock of Geese, or a Killer whale.Great stuff. :-)FS9 Animal Simulation:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...04ac&DLID=69243B29 Super Fortresshttp://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...04ac&DLID=69101Regards,Joeaopa.gif" border="0" alt="Grab My FREEWARE Voice recognition Profiles here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=58334]Cessna 172 Voice Profile[/a][a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=60740]FSD Avanti Voice Profile[/a].You will need the main FREEWARE Flight Assistant program to use it, get it here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=genutils&DLID=39661]Flight Assistant 2.2[/a]

>Hi Paul,>>Welcome to Avsim. :-)Thanks.Here's a few links to some sites specialising in photo-real scenery, airports, aircraft and repaints for New Zealand. Some quite large downloads available. I haven't installed any of this scenery yet, but judging by the screenshots they look very good, and of course, New Zealand is an extremely scenic country.http://www.nzscenery.com/http://www.windowlight.co.nz/http://www.nzpaintshop.com/http://arnz.myhost.co.nz/http://www.massey.ac.nz/%7Eavweb/papers/fl...esign/index.htmPaul
