Sweet FX for FS9 in Full Screen Mode

Featured Replies

I can't seem to get Sweet FX running in Full Screen, only Windowed.

Is in Window Mode, the only way it runs?

I hope not!

Post Edit:  Does anybody have a favorite setting .txt file to share?  Just started using this...so I'm a newbie...

Ah  ...  another example of the 'instant gratification' factor at work  :excl:

I fooled around with it for two hours.....and the settings, and plainly liked the stock appearance.  It was a matter of choice...

Mitch ... highs and lows ... highs and lows.  It's the same whatever forum.  You really are an unstable personality ... and it takes one to know one Mitch.

Those that know me, would be raising their eyebrows at your assessment ...lol.

I'm called the Rock of Gibraltar for a reason, LOL.

SweetFX didn't do it for me....I much prefer the 'as is' depiction.

I agree.  However it's rather better in P3D.

You'd find that too conservative and boring, App

Those two pictures are a' natural, lol!

I agree with Mitch's assessment.

SweetFX = good with FSX, but FS9 is better as it is.

P3D2 was jus too unstable for me to get as far as testing SweetFX!

Got it to work in FULL SCREEN.

You need to un-check FS9's Anti-Aliasing.

After I did that...SweetFX now works in Full Screen Mode!

Post Edit: Wow!   Works like a charm. Really focuses FS9.

Quite a turnaround ..... gone to the dark side so soon!

Its 2015. Last time heard somebody having AA checked in fs9 was like 2004. :D

Sesquie? You ok? Do you know what sim you're using? :P

LOL...Jon, I haven't changed the HARDWARE page for years...so...started playing around...and whammo...got SweetFX to run in Full Screen.  :)  I do use N.I. for FS9 as well...and because of my use of the OVERRIDE sim settings...it didn't really come up as a problem...ya know?!?  :)

Quite a turnaround ..... gone to the dark side so soon!

"Well...Appliance shamed me into action...lol.  I'm no quitter....

I kept plugging at what could be the matter...(did a search on Goog, and found that most persons were using the SweetFX in Full Screen...) and when I un-checked the in-sim Anti A setting...it started working as everybody else.  Weird that that one setting on, interfered with  SweetFX....

But having got it working....it gives TEN TIMES the graphic output in clarity and detail that not running the custom shaders gives.  Gwill....day and night, pal...day and night.  They were (users) very much right....beautiful, man...beautiful.  Post Edit: SweetFX really brings out the best detail from the REX OverDrive clouds sets.
