February 2, 201610 yr OK, it took a while (due to FSAUDIO.dll issues, which I resolved by updating my DirectX, as per the TM FAQ) but now I have the latest TM732 version, with widescreen. I am really surprised to find that the panel is completely different now, with a 'modern' autopilot, not at all like the earlier versions (a shame in a way, as I liked operating the vertical navigation through the joystick!). Even more surprising, the X52 now operates the flaps perfectly, even though I hadn't been able to do any more in FSUIPC! That's great. So much the better. I can get down to some proper flights now! Thanks Peter for the input, especially the heads up about newer versions - I hadn't even realised I had an older one installed. Martin Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)
February 2, 201610 yr Excellent, it is a lovely aircraft to fly. Have you got the CIVA INS installed ? Peter Schluter
February 3, 201610 yr (I see I have selected the SP-177 version of the panel: I could try a different version at some stage to get the old style AP back of course, though I don't want to mess things up with the joystick now)... Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)
February 3, 201610 yr I don't think that changing the AP will mess up your flight stick behaviour, so go for it! 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
