June 25, 200520 yr Strange how Milton's long-awaited Beech 18S only gets a passing mention under today's listings without any details or link to the download.Probably one of the best freeware aircraft available.Am I missing something here? John
June 25, 200520 yr I thought that was a little strange too, John. Especially the absence of it in the New Files listing.. I'm sure its something pretty innocent :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
June 25, 200520 yr Ciao John, filename is d18svc4.zip. Do a search here on Avsim and you will find it.
June 25, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi John, that's simply because "today's files" listed on the front page are always yesterday's files. That is, the Saturday files are those uploaded on Friday. Thus, Milton & Co's Beech package will show up tomorrow ;-)Cheers, Holger
June 25, 200520 yr All you are seeing, as Holger points out, is a shortcoming in automated systems. Our "What's New" database gets automatically updated early in the morning for the previous 24 hours worth of files. If a file is uploaded after that update occurs, then it won't appear in the database that the front page editors use until the following morning. Nothing sinister, however we did mention Milton's upload despite the fact that it did not show up in the database listing.
June 26, 200520 yr I love the system here, easy to use and I understand how it works. We appreciate the early hi-lite in today's headlines too Tom. :-) Of course we all appreciate the available bandwidth as well. ;-)Keep up the great work everyone.

I've recently been reading some of the blurbs on the front page but that's a new thing. I rely on remembering the files I saw yesterday and when I get down to them I've seen everything available. The only time you fool me is on Sunday morning. Heh heh!:D
