to the FS9 Gurus....

 

Where would the best position be for any MESH files, within the Scenery Library.

 

I have them basically below all other custom files, but wonder if this is the best place for them.  Any opinions?

I think that is good.  Just after the standard FS9 files and before any other addon scenery.  I notice that FS Global puts these there on my FSX install as well.

Thanks Mark, been playing around, to see if there is any visual change. Getting that province-wide landclass installed, was the ticket for FS9's Ontario, in its current Scenery Lib position.

If they are single bgl files then I put them in the FS9:scenery/base/scenery folder. If there is more than one file then I do like you and put them below all other scenery.

I agree with Mark. I put all mesh and other scenery enhancements right after the addon scenery entry on scenery.cfg and haven't hadto deal with any conflicting scenery issues in years
