May 13, 201511 yr Hi. Couple of questions: -When I download an A/C from the ops center, are the "aircraft specific settings" already configured to that airline’s specifications? -I've also noticed that, when I download an A/C from the ops center, I noticed the A/C registration listed in the ops center isn't always correct reg. # painted on the A/C or listed in the cockpit. Why is that? -Lastly, would it be possible to add to the ops center, a place for us to change the flight number so we don't have to change it from inside the sim? Thanks! A. Why is that? Why is the grass green? to change the flight numberYou say flight number but do you mean tail number? Michael Cubine
May 13, 201511 yr -I've also noticed that, when I download an A/C from the ops center, I noticed the A/C registration listed in the ops center isn't always correct reg. # painted on the A/C or listed in the cockpit. Why is that? PMDG liveries should have consistent registration numbers on the skin and in the cockpit. Occasionally they will be different and all it takes is a note on a ticket at the PMDG support portal to get the fix on a "TODO" list. Lastly, would it be possible to add to the ops center, a place for us to change the flight number so we don't have to change it from inside the sim? That's possible since OC is already touching the aircraft.cfg, where the atc_flightnumber (or whatever the key is) is exposed; however, I've always viewed the OC as having scope on the lifetime of the aircraft; for example, aircraft settings usually last the lifetime of an airplane. A flight number may change every flight, so the scoping is wrong... I don't see the problem with setting up the session in the simulation platform which after all "owns" the session.. just my opinion. Dan Downs KCRP
