Water on ground looks terrible!

Featured Replies

Any ideas what is going on here please?

Just changed over to DX10 and to be honest not seeing much improvement anywhere but I assume I will need to play with it a bit more, however, the water on the ground is awful

Any ideas why?

Thanks

Paul

I actually think this is to do with the UK2000 Gatwick as default and ORBX airports dont show this

I think you have 3 choices:

1) DX9 with FSX

2) DX10 with FSX and learn to live with weird graphical glitches

3) Move to P3D

You NEED to use the stevefx directx10 fixer.  Along with that, it looks like the wet terrain bitmap is a bit off, but I don't know much about that.  The important thing it to use the fixer, otherwise everything looks terrible.

I am using FSX:SE with the DX10 Fixer and REX4's water refraction and my water looks normal... Are you using the fixer?

Need to add another choice;

4) DX 10 with FSX and Steve's Fixer

Even wit Steve's Fixer, lots of issues that go away with P3D.  At least that was my experience.

Yes I am using the fixer

Seems only the UK2000 Gatwick that is causing me issues

I get very little water if any on the ORBX Scenery, but on default airports it looks great
