Do I need GeForce Experience for P3D?

Featured Replies

I asked this in another thread but I guess it got drowned out:

Is there any advantage for non-SLI users in downloading the GeForce Experience part of the 352.86 driver? (which I understand is necessary to get the profile)

I've never bothered with that so far because I don't run anything that might have been affected, don't record videos and don't care about twitch. My feeling is that I can go on ignoring it. Am I right?

No need for that and your profile is not there.. heck it never will be, its amazing program for recording but thats it.

so yes you do not need it at all !

Profile you refering to you find in nvidia control panel under manage 3d setting then in program settings there you will find p3d

even if you do have sli its worthless, but like i said its amazing for recording ;) beats fraps hands down !!! IMO

just to add, gforce experience there are some games like for example GTA 5, that will be found in there where you can quickly set up your display options and see what nvidia recomends, but for more indepth setting you still use Manage 3d setting in actual control panel.

hope that helps

You don't "need" GeForce Experience at all. Clever marketing more than anything.
