I actually do freelance reviews for Gamespy.com . Would you have any problem with me perhaps doing one for the Citation X?

Hi Josh,I have been Piloting the Citation X for several months (Fed Ex). Also have the Beechjet 400A. Both of these planes are just great to fly. Flight dynamics are excellent IMO. I like both but the beechjet is easier on my computer as far as fps. If you like "eye candy" the Cit X is top notch, that's not saying the beechcraft is bad. From what I have read on this forum you really can't go wwrong with any of Eaglesoft jets.Regards,CarlDell 8250, P4-2.4g, 768 RDRAM,

The steam gauges may be updated down the road as well:-)

I myself was planning on aquiring one of the Eaglesoft jets sometime in the very near future.Exactly what are the limitations of the FMCs? Being primarily a prop pilot up until now, I'm not very familiar with what the functions of an FMC actually are.

Fair enough. I was looking for responses from other people who had the planes as much or more than support from Eaglesoft staff, but OK.

Heya CWD. The FMCs don't let you program in a flight plan, that's their main limitation. They will show you your progress along a flightplan loaded into the FS2004 GPS, let you load your initial weights and give you V1/VR/V2 and approach speeds, and track fuel used and time in flight. That's about it.I never understood the compulsion with people griping that the FMC wasn't fully functional. I've got the LDS 767, and that's got a fully-functional FMC, and yeah, it's really fun. But like Ron always says, the FMC is an option in the X and the CJ1+, not all of them have them and I guess the ones that don't just use straight GPS (unless the Xs have inertial navigation systems?). The rest of the plane more than makes up for the lack of a "complete" FMC in my opinion.Lewis "Moose" GregoryRichmond, Virginia

Fair enough:-)

I wish someone came out with a real cargo hauler small business-type jet, such as a Lear 25/35, Falcon 20C, etc. I'd slap me an ameristar, ameriflight, USA Jet, Kalitta, Airnet Systems livery on them and be a happy pilot!

I think FSD is doing a Mitsubishi with cargo capability.

>I think FSD is doing a Mitsubishi with cargo capability.>>Not a jet per se, but a turboprop, but yeah they are. :) They're doing a...Lockheed Jetstar?...I think as well.
