Hello,

Can anybody help me with the parking brake please? cannot set it for more than a second and it will release again. Ive tried with my joysticks on and off, setting null zones in the pedals, checking for conflicts, reassigning the control, etc. and nothing works. This is in Prepar3d and in FSX.

Thanks in advance.

This fact leads me to believe that it's your pedals. Unplug them temporarily and set the brake. If the brake stays set then you know where the problem lies.

Hi,  you'll have to go to your settings in fsx and change it, assuming you haven't done that already.  Remove your joystick, as in completely disconnected and see.  Check your keyboard.  If you fiddled with any settings in a particular plane check it again. It could be conflicting with normal keyboard settings. Once I had a problem similar to that. If all fails, take your settings on the keyboard and even joystick to default. Hope you get it right soon. I can imagine, the frustration.

Cheers.

That sounds like the likely cause. The 777 initialises with no hydraulic pressure in the brake accumulator. Not very likely but that's how it is. I made a new panel state having shut down with hyds pressurised and that fixed it.
