Voice issue

Featured Replies

Hi Bryan, for some reason, when I say "yes" it doesn't register at all. All other commands work. Any ideas?

Bryan, I too have a voice issue. Reboot is very good, but as a Uk user since setting my voice recognition to english-US as instructed in the manual, I find I am having to pronounce 2 words with a distinct American accent to get through the checklists. Those 2 words are: 1. Auto (has to be pronounced 'eoww-tow' sounding like meow!) and 2. On (has to be probounced with a drawl :P). I have run the voice recognition training several times...

Do I just need to tell it how I say these words in a brit accent? didnt have these probs with legacy :)

cheers K

Hi Keven,

Legacy and Reboot share the same Speech Recognition system; your results should be identical.

Brit users often have problems with "auto" and "on".

Here's how to train those two words specifically:

I think with legacy I completely failed to read the manual and have been operating all this time with voice recognition set to english UK :P Thanks for the link! K
