July 25, 201510 yr Hi Bryan, for some reason, when I say "yes" it doesn't register at all. All other commands work. Any ideas?
July 25, 201510 yr Commercial Member You need to say "Yes Please", not just "Yes". B) The reason is because the shorter the word, the easier it is for the speech recognition system to accidentally detect it. So we made it accept 'yes please' only. Cheers, B. July 25, 201510 yr Bryan, I too have a voice issue. Reboot is very good, but as a Uk user since setting my voice recognition to english-US as instructed in the manual, I find I am having to pronounce 2 words with a distinct American accent to get through the checklists. Those 2 words are: 1. Auto (has to be pronounced 'eoww-tow' sounding like meow!) and 2. On (has to be probounced with a drawl ). I have run the voice recognition training several times... Do I just need to tell it how I say these words in a brit accent? didnt have these probs with legacy cheers K Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS
July 25, 201510 yr Commercial Member Hi Keven, Legacy and Reboot share the same Speech Recognition system; your results should be identical. Brit users often have problems with "auto" and "on". Here's how to train those two words specifically: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/372413-the-new-way-to-train-the-speech-recognizer-for-specific-words-like-auto/ Best, B. July 26, 201510 yr I think with legacy I completely failed to read the manual and have been operating all this time with voice recognition set to english UK Thanks for the link! K Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS
