August 6, 201510 yr Been seeing alot of Youtube 737NG videos and nearly everone isn't showing the G/S. So is this pretty common and why? Vernon Howells
August 6, 201510 yr You should have it. You need it. Internal airline regulations limit high speed taxi to 20 or 25 kts on long and clear of traffic taxiways.. Around 90 degree turns you should be about 10 kts. High speed turnoffs are a different story. Alberto Ferracuti
August 7, 201510 yr Author Yeh but the strange thing is, i'm seeing a few videos without the groundspeed showing Vernon Howells
August 7, 201510 yr The ground speed is permanently displayed on top of the ND. Displaying it also on the PFD would be redundant to my opinion. Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite. St Exupéry, Terre des hommes.
August 7, 201510 yr Vernon Why show the same information on the PFD and ND which are maybe an inch apart. Like Romain said it's redundant. Michael Cubine
August 7, 201510 yr Like so many things in the cockpit (redundant) I like to have mine in the PFD too. Personal preference I guess. Alberto Ferracuti
