Thanks. I saw it but did not downloaded as it says is for fs9 but i will try!

Found this updated fde for FSX. Haven't tried it myself but might be worth trying?

Or if you want a more detailed, FSX native, Chipmunk, have a look at the Just Flight offering - http://www.justflight.com/product/dhc1-chipmunk. I bought it when it was initially released as a special offer which included the optional bubble canopy version. Great fun and still a reasonable price for a very detailed model.
