uiautomationcore.dll failure even after replacing

You removed the uiautomationcore.dll in the FSX folder to allow the use of the Win10 version as I suggested? Beware that the Steam edition will probably replace it at some stage, so you may need to delete/rename again later. Still I say it should not be required to do that.

maybe I can contact dovetail and say that for windows 10 they need to windows 10 dll? they would probably not listen to me through

I've got the latest build with UiAutomationcore.dll v6.0.6001.18000 still there and Win10 with no problems so far. I think your situation is unusual if v6.0.6001.18000 causes issues. Worth letting them know if you want to, but don't expect a response it doesn't mean they've not looked at it.
