1.5 g isn't much considering we live at 1 g

That is 1.5g over the normal 1g though. That is 1.5g in all directions, you can experience negative g too - not many other solutions can provide you with that.

Also bear in mind over 1g in acceleration in anything but aviation is a reasonable amount. No road car can generate much more than that in lateral acceleration. In fact for most aviation applications you don't want to be generating much more than that anyway. Remember this is for adding immersion while simulating lots of things not just aerobatics!
