Weird Aileron problem

Featured Replies

I have a problem with P3D v3 and the aileron axis. It only moves about 10% to either side. Has anyone experienced the same?

I have a PFC Yoke that works perfectly in FSX, X-Plane and P3D v2.5, but not in P3D v3...

I had this happen when I had the axis setup in both the P3D control settings and FSUIPC at the same time.  I unchecked the controller in the P3D settings and reset the axis in FSUIPC and all was fine.

I have been having problems too with PFC in Prepar 3D v3, specially with A2A airplanes.

It works with FSUIPC when disabled in the sim, but no animation.

When assigned in the sim, I can see animation (yoke movement and flying surfaces moving) but spikes and terrible control input.

Check out the thread entitled "Saitek Joystick Axes not responding" on the LM Prepar3D Website  [Prepar3D Client Application Questions Forum]. Saul James has confirmed that LM are working on a number of controller problems.

Stupidly expensive rig, nonplussed Memsahib, disinterested offspring and a fascinated cat as Rio.  XP11, P3Dv3 and an Oculus Rift.

Also check that you have moved the slider in the axis assignment settings in the sims GUI from the default 64 to 127, and reduced the null zone to minimum. THEN calibrate.
