  1. Have to say I can't wait  https://www.facebook.com/pmdgsimulations/videos/1105419569497826/?permPage=1
  2. Thanks for the info. I've searched the entire forum, both 737 support and general, and I can't find the update anywhere? Is it me that is blind? I'm a registered user, so I suppose I can see the relevant forums.
  3. Sounds good. Where can I get the update? Looked at the version from The FlightSim Store, where i bought it, and it is still version 3.160310. I have had this plane in the hangar for quite a while now... Hoping I can finally use it :-)
  4. I've never had an FPS issue with the Bus. I only fly with ASN, and even in the clouds I get around 30 fps. The only difference might be that I haven't yet updated to P3D 3.2, I'm still at v3.1.
  5. Allthough FSX:SE is great, I would go for X-Plane or as scotchegg says, wait for DTG flightsim. Flying through clouds in X-Plane is just awesome. You really feel the 3D effect, and to date it's the only sim where I had a feeling of flying. It does take som e time and a lot of freeware addons to get it where one is happy with it, but once you are there it is hard to ignore it. Plus there seem to be more quality payware addons on the way. I still use P3D for tubeliners, but that's only because the ATC in X-Plane sucks.
  6. It's actually not that difficult. The following link describes how to do it. Once it's done, and you've successfully restored Windows, you can expand the partition again. I would give it a try
  7. Hi Michael I quick google shows that you might have to shrink you C: partition. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/recovering-with-system-image-to-new-ssd/9b56d7e9-3543-466d-8cbe-04cf41dd5cde Sounds odd, but given how Microsoft works (or not), it might work out. Good luck from a fellow Dane
  8. In theory you should be able to add 8 monitors. However if you plan to use it for one application, you might run in to some issues. I haven't tried it, but I don't think you can display e.g. FSX across all 8 monitors. Again, I've never tried it so I might be way off. If your goal is to span your favoirite flightsim across 8 monitors, you can always use one graphic card and a couple of TrippleHead2Go.
  9. Hi Martin Thanks for taking the time to answer all of our questions. Much appreciated  My questions is: Will there be any changes to the night brightness? Don't know if it's just me, but I think the entire ESP platform suffers from to bright nights. X-Plane has managed to get this pretty much spot on.
  10. I would do something about the horrible default ground textures... They are way to repetitive.
  11. The CH Throttle is better quality, but the Saiteks have a better feel and look. I have the CH now, but as soon as the Saitek will be in stock again, I'll go back to that one... It just feels better in my book.
  12. I might just have to buy it as a late Christmas present for myself then :-) Thanks for all your feedback.
  13. I've had an eye on the DC-9 also for a while now. I'm just not sure whether it is too old school... I would really love a proper MD-80... Coolsky also makes a MD-80, but as far as I can tell from Youtube, the overhead panel is only 2D. That's just a no-go :-)
  14. Thanks Flavio. I knew I should have pulled the trigger on the sale... I've been watching a few Youtube videos of it, and the texturing doesn't look that bad, only a bit dated perhaps.
  15. I've seen that topic, and as I read it some can install it and others can't. Have I misunderstood something?
  16. I've tried google a few times, but haven't found a definite answer. Does anyone know if the Leonardo Maddog 2010 is compatible with FSX:SE? And how is the graphics compared to the CLS MD-80? Unfortunately I just missed the sale. Otherwise I would just have bought it and taken the chance... But at full price I don't feel like gambling :-) Thanks.
  17. And a very Merry Christmas to you Tony, and all the other flightsim geeks out there :-) Looks like 2016 will be even better than 2015 (flightsim wise). Kinda looking forward to see what Dovetail is bringing to the table....
  18. It's more a disappointment. It feels like it is quality, but the motion range of the levers and the spacing between them are just to short. It makes it hard to adjust prop or throttle without looking at the unit.
  19. I ended up buying the CH Throttle Quadrant. It's okay, but I most likely won't buy it again. It does feel like the quality is better than Saitek though.
  20. Hi Tony I did a short flight (in the version that got pulled) around 'Great Belt Bridge' and noticed that the tunnel for trains is shown as a bridge. So there are two bridges... Looks a bit silly  You probably don't have the model for it, but in case you do, The Great Belt Bridge is a suspension bridge. Other than that, everything so far just look insanely good. Just for the fun of it, I started FSX:SE with FTX Global... And quickly closed it again. It seems like you have outdone ORBX. Even with default textures. What a fantastic job.
  21. Absolutely amazing. Can't wait to try it out... It almost look real :-)
  22. I would also recommend going for FSX:SE. Most if not all your old FSX addons is going to work, and it is a lot smoother then P3D. The graphics might not be as "pretty", but in my mind it's not a deal breaker. I just requested a refund on my P3Dv3 purchase. Was never really satisfied with it. Now I have FSX:SE and X-Plane, and both of them are running very smooth. Can highly recommend both of them.
  23. I downloaded it last night, and did a small test flight around the small Danish island Laesoe this morning. WOW, it is mind blowing how the small islands has come to life. Tony, you've done an excellent job, and I can't wait to try it out around the major cities. Thanks a million for bringing Denmark to life in XP
  24. Now all we need is someone to change the default ground textures (including the default ones). I would love to do it, but I'm pretty useless when it comes to graphical work  The Sim has really evolved over the last year, and I find myself spending more and more time with it compared to the other sims out there.
