October 24, 201510 yr Some good chap at the org has put together some seasonal trees that switch automatically on a given date (which users can edit). It's just the trees, not textures, so the ground itself will still be the summer textures, but looks pretty good. http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=29015 i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea

October 25, 201510 yr They look pretty good. Intel i-9 13900KF @ 6.0 Ghz, MSI RTX 4090 Suprim Liquid X 24GB, MSI MAG CORELIQUID C360, MSI Z790 A-PRO WIFI, MSI MPG A1000G 1000W, G.SKILL 48Gb@76000 MHz DDR5, MSI SPATIUM M480 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 2TB, Windows 11 Pro Ghost Spectre x64 “We sleep safe in our beds because rough men stand ready in the day and night to visit violence on those who would do us harm”.
October 25, 201510 yr Now all we need is someone to change the default ground textures (including the default ones). I would love to do it, but I'm pretty useless when it comes to graphical work  The Sim has really evolved over the last year, and I find myself spending more and more time with it compared to the other sims out there.
October 25, 201510 yr Commercial Member A rather unmentioned / unnoticed feature of 10.4x, but kinda a big deal. Pretty sure you could use the same idea to change textures on scenery objects as well. Runways & taxiways could be changed via the same principle too. I think it'll be a matter of time before ground textures are done too, I think, but man o man would that ever entail a lot of work. Even the amount of work it must have been to do deciduous trees is rather staggering. Hats off to them! I've got it installed, but pretty sure some of the other scenery packs I have interfere to some degree, or use different tree models, since I'll see blocks here and there that have the changed trees, but then areas where they're all still green. Still, even in a limited scope, it's quite wonderful! Jim Stewart Milviz Person.
October 25, 201510 yr Moderator At the moment it only seems to cover the default trees & forests and not those from some common libraries like OpenSceneryX and world-models. So you will see a mix of tree styles in thing like W2XP (Simheaven) scenery. Other than that, it shouldn't be too much work to update those libraries to support seasons also.

Thanks for confirming that Tony. I had a feeling that my W2XP trees were still green! Jim Stewart Milviz Person.
