Please Help!!
Please help when I enter any aircraft, my viewpoint is on the floor. I use Tobii, never a problem, today on the floor. On my yoke I have up viewpoint mapped, using this I can't get above the dash. Look online and found you change it in the aircraft config file. Great, where are they? I play with steam, every location I've and tried, nothing. Could someone help, I found a state cfg.

FSUIPC Joystick setting don't work
I'm trying to use FSUIPC to set up CH Yoke, Quad, and pedals, I read a guide by John Cook. The first thing he tells you to do, the first thing, is to disable the controllers. I do this and start FSUIPC. Mr Cook writes that we are not going to use FSX or CH's Control Manager to assign and calibrate the yoke, quad, and pedals; great that's why purchased it. I proceed to assign all my axis. I follow his directions to the tee. That's it. There are no directions to do anything when a get out of FSUIPC. No enable the controllers, no assign axis in the setting, nothing. I'm at the controls of my 172SP, guess what, nothing works. Rudder left, rudder doesn't move, elevator; forward, back, nothing. Why?

Where is FSUIPC

Steam "March Madness" sale
Mad, yeah I'm mad, that X-Plane is still $59.99!

MSFSX or X Plane 10
To be clear I've had a version of FSX for years. When I put my new machine together Steam had FSX for $9.99, at that price it was easier just to add it to my Steam account. X Plane has been at $59.99 for months. But, it is found money, so to speak, and it looks really cool. I've got the 2 GTX 980's now, which is a real incentive. I need a little push is all, I'm in.

MSFSX or X Plane 10
P3D is not an option, the don't sell it on Steam. I have the Steam Edition of FSX. I actually had the retail boxed version, and just got the Steam Edition just because I built a new machine and it was cheap and easy. I had it and loved every version, it just that I was interested in what Xplane was like. I just built a new machine 64Gb, ASUS ROG Rampage V Intel MB, 2 GTX 980's, so machine is not a problem. I have to see if I can Demo it on Steam. Since I will use a gift certificate, I'll probably do it. I'm sure I'll use both.

Will a GTX 970 make a difference?
nerrad33 replied to TWSY's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcI went from a GTX 560 to GTX 980 and liked it, and was satisfied with the over all improvement. I noticed that little hitches while in cloud cover went away. I maxed everything and its running just great. I just added a second GTX 980 it's magnificent. But the jump from the 560 to the 980 was more noticeable. So, I would imagine that it would be a good investment. Although it is 970 and not 980 I don't think that will make that much difference. Go for it, treat yourself.

MSFSX or X Plane 10
I recieved a $100 gift cerificate for Steam. I've had X-Plane 10 in my wish list for a while, its a bit pricey. Is different from MSFSX? Is it better? Or is my money better spent on planes for MSFSX, or something else? Any thoughts are welcome.

Adjust Eye View
With the settings above, the vertical is spot on, I need to be a little left, which I imagine is the second value, but I'm behind the seat. This is the third value I would think. Now I just need to know what increasing or decreaseing as value does. I try small value changes and see where it puts me. Thanks for the help. Any other advice is most welcome.
