October 10, 201510 yr On a 777 at what point/altitude would the PF call for the after take off flow and check list ? The reason I ask is on the pmdg 777, the after takeoff low switches off the landing lights, but I understand the landing lights are to remain on under 10,000 feet. October 12, 201510 yr I would say when established in the climb, after LNav and VNav. The landing lights can go off then, or if you prefer, as you do the "passing 10,000 in the climb" flow. Cheers:-)
October 14, 201510 yr On the 777, the after take off checklist would be called once the flaps are up. Landing lights and turnoffs, as you pointed out, stay on up to 10000 feet. What you can do, I guess, is to change the name of the flow or edit the content of it, so that the correct things are done at the correct time. Simply add actions or remove some and you will have the perfect SOP for the real world or virtual airline you're flying. No arguing about who opens the fuel levers or handles the landing lights.
