Loosing sound

Featured Replies

I just moved my USB sound dongle for my headset to another USB port. Its all running well again but i've lost some sound and thats the clicking noise of when you move switches etc. Everything else is sounding great :) is there a way round this without me quitting my flight on vatsim and restarting FSX

I don't think so, no. Unless you can see it in the Sound Config screen of FSX (and NGX), then no. Try the same with vPilot, or SB and you'd see the same issue. Programs don't usually re-poll the USB ports mid-run.

Just guessing... try clicking the Q a couple of times.

Ahh found the cure - reselect your audio device in the FMC sound options

So select and execute another audio device and reselect your device ;)
