October 24, 201510 yr Author Hmm i have checked over 10 airports across Europe comparing ASN against aviationweather. And ASN is wrong! Vernon Howells
October 24, 201510 yr Commercial Member Hi, We have only these 2 reports so far (duplicated a bit on hifi forums and tickets) with no other apparent widespread issues. We are investigating and any network issues found/updates will be posted on our forums or support site. I am curious if you two are using the VATSIM option? Perhaps there is a problem with that data source/connection to VATSIM. If so, turning the option off, restarting ASN and observing the results would confirm this. Is this isolated only to Europe? Do the "erroneous METARs" state that they are being interpolated? Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
October 24, 201510 yr Author I use V pilot and you just use ASN weather thats injected. So far UK portugal and poland all affected. No interpolated Vernon Howells

October 24, 201510 yr Commercial Member Hi all, Quick update: We've identified and resolved the issue. Specifically we had a hardware issue coupled with an invalid status check process on our newest server (lacunosus) leading to stale weather delivery to those connected to this server over the past 48 hours (about 5% of ASN users were affected). There does not appear to be any VATSIM data issues as previously suspected. We apologize for the inconvenience and as always are working hard to resolve any network issues as well as implement new handling to prevent these kind of issues in the first place. Thanks to those who reported the issue and provided further details, helping us to more quickly identify and resolve this. Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
