October 25, 201510 yr Where is your Orbx libraries entry in the scenery.cfg? Did you not install the latest orbx libraries? - David Lee
October 25, 201510 yr Author Hi david. Yes I have them. but they are not in the library, my mistake its a new pc setup. I must of deleted it by mistake from the scenery configs last night. where does it normally go ??
October 25, 201510 yr Try moving the textures and mesh resolutions one notch to the left, you have them full right and it's not necessary unless you are flying tree top. I am not yet sure how Orbx Hybrid mode works, yes I can read their claims, but I've had problems with it. If you are using that try without. Orbx libraries are normally found at the top of the list. Download the latest and run their installer. Dan Downs KCRP

If you run the library installer again, then run ftx central, and select your settings it rebuilds the scenery.cfg file. - David Lee
October 31, 201510 yr Author Ok so second flight, second OOM. this time CYVR to CYYZ. In fsx I never had an OOM apart from CYVR to EGLL. Now im getting the MORE than on FSX. Can someone please from PMDG please explain what setttings their they are getting magical flights with no OOMS. As at the moment im worst off than i was before. Thats settings for prepar3d.cfg in game settings and settings for the 777.
October 31, 201510 yr Are you sure it's an OOM and not just a crash related to another thing? What is the message you get? Maybe post the crash logs here, that could help us. Cheers!
October 31, 201510 yr Author No its on OOM. Ive been simming nearly 15 years. October 31, 201510 yr I have not been simming for 15 years. But the error you got is definitely no OOM. It's the infamous MSVCR120.dll crash-to-desktop error. Maybe you should do your homework before starting those rant posts... [email protected] ∣ Asus ROG Strix B650E-E ∣ 64Gb@6000MT ∣ NVidia 5090 FE
October 31, 201510 yr Sorry if I offended you, I was just trying to help. With all that experience I'm sure you'll be able to find a solution. Cheers.
November 1, 201510 yr Author no its an oom, the fsuipc keeps beeping on inbound to cyyz.. then the box comes up "your out of memory". Its neither here nor there the event log says its the MSVCR120.dll I can fly 6 sectors in the as 320 with all the bells and whistles, you try one sector in the 777 which is know to drain VAS, And your right it is a rant, and its not aimed at you. After 15 years there is nothing more frustrating than companies who like to pull dirty tricks by revamping a product to get sales, ie selling the 777 as "oom free in p3d" but charging to buy it again, when its the same hooker in a different dress it still ooms just like the fsx version. Sorry if you took any offence. like I said its aimed at pmdg not you.
November 1, 201510 yr Hi there, Just for your info: I'm running W10 and P3D v3 with the 777 without any problems at all! In fact I'm very happy that I've upgraded from FSX to P3D v3. Last friday I did a medium long haul flight (PGUM-PHNL) of 8 hrs without any problem at all. I think (and Carlo said it also) it has to do something with your MSVCR120.dll file missing (and that can cause an OOM). MSVCR120.dll is an important file used in Window Operating System. The file is used to extract the valuable application resources required at runtime by the third party installation program (like PMDG, hence your trouble with the 777).This dll file error occur from incorrect versions of the file and also MSVCR120.dll error occurs due to corrupted or damaged MSVCR120.dll file. So why don't you give it a try and (re)install the MSVCR120.dll file? Download msvcr120.dll zip File formhttp://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll...Extract the zip fileCopy the msvcr120.dll fileHow do I install the dll-fileGo to the location in Computer C:\Windows\System32and Paste the file herethat's all.
