October 27, 201510 yr Commercial Member PMDG Staff, I'm in the process of performing a new install after reinstalling Windows. I couldn't remember if the Ops Center was a separate install or if it installed as part of of the aircraft (NGX and/or 777) installation, and while researching I noticed according to the 777 product page (at the PMDG store page) says the Ops Center is included. I checked the NGX product page as well, however the Ops Center is not mentioned there. I'm assumng that the Ops Center is actually included in the NGX install, given that NGX customers (who don't also have the 777) would also require it. As such, I'm simply writing to let you know about the missing info from the NGX product page (if indeed it's included in the install). October 27, 201510 yr The OC is included with the installation package of both the NGX and the 777 and installs automatically. There is no separate download because without those two addons it has no function. It wasn't included with the NGX to begin with but the latest revision has it, so if you don't have the latest NGX installer download that first.
October 27, 201510 yr Author Commercial Member Kevin, I'll understand if English isn't your first language. My initial post outlines an issue for which your reply is not applicable. I thank you though for your response. Best wishes. Dave Hodges System Specs: I9-13900KF, NVIDIA 4070TI, Quest 3, Multiple Displays, Lots of TERRIFIC friends, 3 cats, and a wonderfully stubborn wife.
October 27, 201510 yr Commercial Member For what it's worth, if your message is addressed to PMDG staff, then it should be going to support.precisionmanuals.com. While we are often browsing, this is the community support forum, and it's not guaranteed to be seen or addressed. Kevin's message does actually apply, as it addresses the fact that the OC was not originally included, which would explain why the page doesn't explicitly list it. It's planned to be its own product at some point, which again would point to why it's not explicitly mentioned in all cases. Minor updates have been made, of course, but the OC was left off of the list on the NGX page (not that it is a major issue either way). Questioning someone's native language isn't exactly in proper form, and in this case is a little more of a gaffe since the member in question is from the UK. Kyle Rodgers
October 27, 201510 yr Author Commercial Member Sweet Lord guys. I was pointing out, in a very nice way, that the information regarding Ops Center is not included on the NGX Product Page. It's not there. You don't want it there? Fine. Your sandbox. I was just letting you know. Next time I'll be direct and blunt. Best wishes. Your OP seemed to be searching tor information. You asked questions about the OC installation, saying you had forgotten whether it was included with the NGX. You said you would assume it was included. I provided the answers to clarify the matter you had apparently asked about. Other people might find this thread and want the same answer. I didn't realise the questions were actually rhetorical so you could make a point to PMDG about their NGX product page. So, apologies for my error. Thank you for pointing out my lack of comprehension skills in my native language in such a polite and completely unpatronising way. Sweet Lord guys.
