Regards Terry. Hey Terry, In the zip file for our aircraft, there is a ReadMe file. Please read it and execute the steps contained within it. FSX:SE requires you to install some SimConnect files that do not come installed in FSX:SE by default. Not sure what the FSInsider message is all about, but you can safely ignore it. Make sure to allow that to run. Uninstall/reinstalls rarely ever fix issues, by the way, so always attempt to troubleshoot first, otherwise you just end up wasting time. As a final note, full names - first and last - are required to be in each post in this part of the forum. Please make sure to include this in the future. Kyle Rodgers
December 28, 201510 yr Kyle, I'll resurrect this thread as I've got the same issue now after installing / updating my FSDT Addon Manager. Reverting to backups of cfg/xml / uninstallimg FSDT does not help, I have a feeling that my issues are with SimConnect. I'm on FSX Accel, I have all three SimConnect versions installed. Simconnect.log does not give me anything as I'll appcrash as soon as I answer yes to load pmdgsounds.dll. The last time I got it to loosen up by rearranging dll.xml and update my FSUIPC. As I said, I feel like I'm lead on a goosechase when something underlying / structural is wrong. I must admit not checking the readme you mention, as I don't own FSX:SE, but my search pulled this thread. Does sound very similar. Is there something I could try to "reinstate" Simconnect, or at least shake it around abit? Thanks mate,
December 28, 201510 yr You can shake it up by uninstalling with control panel then installing with the installers. Be careful, one of the simconnects belongs to ASN. Dan Downs KCRP
December 28, 201510 yr Thank you Sir! That's certainly something I never have dared to try before I'm on a rock solid install from 2010, very carefull not to mess around too much. The last time it "suddenly" solved itself when I upgraded to a newer version of FSUIPC and/or rearranged bglmanx.dll, and pow Pete is gone until the 6th so no new version before that. I'll play around with the dll's and refresh the trusting some more, I might find the golden combo. Cheers,
December 29, 201510 yr Solved, again. It was the old trust bug described by Pete here: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/68382-fsx-fails-to-run-after-fsuipc4-first-installed/ Endless rearranging of the DLL's finally made it load. Cheers,
