December 13, 201510 yr OK, thanks. Can you share the reference where I can find him? I read somewhere that Viii performance slow when CPU is overclocked, that was why I was suggested Sabretooth as another option. The Hero VIII is not slow when CPU is Overclocked , did some fsxmark11 tests with it . http://www.avsim.com/topic/329116-fsxmark11/?p=3324043 You find Martin.W here on the forums http://
December 13, 201510 yr I've answered your PM Edward. :smile:Must say, I've never come across anything regarding VIII hero being slow. Do you have a link?
December 13, 201510 yr I was doing feedback about these two motherboards and in one of the forums I saw someone was suggesting Sabretooth against viii hero. He stated that he did a test and viii hero were slow on overclocking. If I find that link I will share. I was actually surprised as well. Thx for help Yes, he just meant it didn't overclook quite as well as a previous Sabre-tooth he tested. That's not the same as "it slows down when you overclock it". It's probably just a random variation in a boards ability to overclock. A different board would probably overclock better. I doubt it was much either. It may have been the previous Sabertooth he tested that was an exceptional overclocker or any number of random eventualities. You shouldn't take random comments on a forum seriously. There's also BIOS updates to consider. Overclocking often improves with BIOS updates, another variable.
