I will be running P3DV3 soon and just wondering is one 980TI card good enough and would 980TI in SLI be overkill and a waste of $$$?  Thanks

Do you have other games you play like BF4, Fallout4, COD, etc? P3D and FSX do not make great use of SLI. If the only game you play is P3D, it is a huge waste of money in my opinion.

If your a hardcore gaming and computer enthusiast with money to spend,  well then sure,  throw another one of those baby's in there,  but really the 980 ti is a super card with 6 gig of Vram  so you will have more then enough power to run any game at high settings.

    Adding a second 980Ti allows me to fly through heavy clouds and otherwise graphics-intensive areas with impunity.  To that end it works great in P3D v3.

    Thanks for all who replied, I fly only Flight sim and at present time I have a GTX 780 card. Think I will upgrade to a single 980ti and that should do well for me. Thanks again.
