November 25, 201510 yr I have three freeware sceneries that have sloped runways (one has a sloped taxiway also). The plane I fly uses the sloped runways fine but my AI planes either sink into or float over the runways (depending on which way they are going). Is there anything I can do so my AI use the runways correctly?

November 25, 201510 yr Mr Edtroit is correct in saying that the FS9 AI engine is not set up for handling sloping runways. These sceneries can only be used for flyable aircraft. Which freeware sloping runway airports/airfields are you referring to and where can I find them ? For me they sound very interesting ? Hans
November 26, 201510 yr Author Thanks guys. Luckily the airports do not get a lot of AI at all, and they do park at the terminal good. Hans, the airports are ENOV and ENHV in Norway and UUYP in Russia. UUYP can be found at avsim.su and the file name is 3134-UUYP11072010.zip ENOV can be found here in the avsim library. File name is scenery_sunnmore_v_1.0.zip ENHV can be found here http://www.flightsim.no/fsno/filbibliotek/FS2004/scenery/europa/norge.html PS: The instructions for ENOV say you have to delete files from the FS9 EURWscenery folder, but if you do that it will effect other airports in Norway. So I only delete those files when I file to and from ENOV then put them back when I am done.
November 27, 201510 yr Joseph, I hope not to hijack your thread (and if so, I apologize) with a question regarding the UUYP scenery: Does it show up correctly at your sim? November 28, 201510 yr Author I don't remember ever seeing static planes at this scenery. I have had the scenery installed for a while now so maybe I deleted the static planes and don't remember doing it. The trees and everything else is showing fine in my sim.
