Anyone else waiting for Lunar Pilot?

Featured Replies

After reading about this addon for the last few months, Ive been eagerly awaiting its release. At first, i wasn't to keen on it, as I like Flight Simulator to be as realistic as possible, but sometimes I get a little bored with it and I thought this will make a nice diversion. Anyone else looking forward to this one? I think its going to be out very soon.Rob

Nope not at all. No offence to you or anyone else who is interested in it, but it's probably the last add-on I would buy.

 Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.

I'm pretty interested in it, but whether I actually plunk down the cash is another thing - only because I already have too many add-on aircraft that I don't use enough. The scenery that comes with it is what might push me over the edge... It looks pretty amazing.BTW they've been working on this product for ages; I've been monitoring their site for several months (or maybe over a year). I admire their determination to bring out this admittedly niche product.BTW #2 if you're an FS9 helicopter pilot, TTC has a free downloadable scenery add-on ("Swiss Military Bastion") that portrays this amazing tower with three or four places to land:http://www.lunarpilot.com/shop/product_inf...3cd5bbd1fa1dcbaI played around with it and it's very challenging, and something to see sticking out of the snow 8^) .Final BTW - IMO Lunar Pilot will be quite hard to fly well with just a joystick (even a twist one)... Like FS9 helicopters, you really need pedals and hopefully a separate throttle control for your left hand - it makes "vertical flight" a lot easier.Dave Blevins

I have purchased it and if nothing else the scenery is quite nice. It's a nice change of pace after flying regular aircraft since 1983.Challenging to say the least.Works as advertised.FTD1949
