Best helicopters for FSX Steam Edition?

Featured Replies

I have the DCS helicopters and they are awesome , however Im looking for some for FSX Steam edition

Which freeware and payware have the most realistic helicopter flight models?

There are many good models out there, mostly payware.

Btw, figure out the difference between ai and static aircraft placed in payware airports?

If you are looking for helos for FSX that compare to DCS, you are going to be disappointed. There is only one that even comes close, the Dodo Bell 206. It's graphics are dated, but it's the only FSX helo with at all realistic FD. They are working on a new version, and have made significant progress, but it is on the back burner for them, so no telling how much longer it will take.

The Dodo 206 is porcheria. Stick with DCS, or go to X-plane. FSX isn't even an option for helis.

Obviously no one here uses HTR.
