September 16, 200520 yr Before I buy Flight Environment, I would like to know if there are any potential conflicts. I would seem to me that there shouldn't, as my understanding is that FE is textures and UT just places textures. Thanks in advance,Adam

The two work well together especially because they both focus on different aspects of the flightsim environment.
September 16, 200520 yr I agree with the posters. I bought FE last week, and after installation and a couple of flight tours, thought I would go back to freeware cloud and water textures found on line here and elsewhere. I even emailed flight1 asking how to get a refund. I got a response a couple of days later. By then, I was completely satisfied with the improvements FE brings to the sim. Sometimes it can be dramatic, sometimes very subtle, but well worth the small investment. And, to answer your question, FE works great with UT...sherm
September 17, 200520 yr Thanks guys,Just one more thing to add is that FE has a special set of black water which is to get that really dark inland water lake look that suits Ultimate Terrain very well. This was asked for by Steve from Flight One to work with Ultimate terrain. The black water option works pariculary well in mountain regions which tend to have that very dark deep looking water. This dark water can then be matched to water reflection sets that have a high reflection and this can proudce a very dynamic look. All that said regarding black water there is also green water and grey water options for inland too so there should be plenty of choices to suite most tastes and regions in the world.I use Ultimate terrain all the time and I love the way it works with Flight Environment. The two products apsolutely complement each other.
