Autopilot with heading knob

Featured Replies

I used to have an autopilot gauge that enabled you to change the aircraft heading on the gauge itself with a knob. Does anyone know where I can find this gauge? I lost mine a while ago.

Many thanks

Is this one of the older style A/P and the heading knob has a pointer on it?  Once the knob is turned a step or 2, then

you watch your heading indicator and turn the knob back to center when you are close to your desired heading?

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

Thanks Charlie

The autopilot I had just had a knob on the left that when you turned it the hdg would change. Just saved you using the HSI.

The newer Garmin autopilot has this, as do many airliner autopilots.

Thanks Bert,

Do you know of any place where I can download the newer Garmin autopilot?  Thanks for any help.

John

The Garmin autopilot is embedded in newer (payware) addons, like the Carenado C90GTX..

But why not use the autopilot that comes with the default 737?
