J.C.,

Zilch, nada, zero, nothing there in the flight sim GTN for weather. AFAIK weather is an optional fee in the real world (several suppliers like XM WX, and others) + they have to buy an additional receiver and pay monthly or quarterly for the weather services. This is not available in any way, shape or form in the Flight1 GTNs. Sorry.

From Garmin GTN web site:

* Optional satellite weather.

With available XM™ WX Satellite Weather link, your

GTN unit can access graphical NEXRAD imaging,

as well as the latest METARs, TAFs, lightning,

and other up-to-the-minute meteorological data.

(Requires GDL 69 receiver and XM subscription,

sold separately.)

I was wondering ...If would be possible to replace right  MFD by secondary GTN 750 ? For example Turbine Duke v2 has this option .. just idea.. :)

BTW.. I have completed several flights and I have to say I'm not found any major problems :) at this moment- great work! and I'm looking forward on your final version.

Regards J.C

J.C.,

I believe the Co-pilot or right side PFD is a simple extension of the primary or Pilot's PFD and whatever data is on one is on both. Although the dual LED panels in some Carenado models had a hidden click spot to turn off the power to save on FPS, the data was still being sent to it - this CJ2 apparently does not have this feature. At least, I have not found it - it was a small area in the upper left corner of the right hand PFD.

There should be no reason that you could not install a second GTN 750 in the CJ2 and use it as a popup. This could be used for various display information but moving maps and upcoming arrivals would be a good use. Having a full airport diagram displayed prior to landing would also be useful information.

The F1 GTN Config program will handle this 2nd install easily.

I would think when used as a popup, the 2nd GTN750 window could be positioned in the general area of that basically unused right hand PFD.

Best Regards,

Ray

BTW I Thinking about buying GTN 650 is worth it ?

Yes it is, but buying it depends on your aircraft needs.

If you have a plane that supports both 750 & 650 or  only 650's.

Note: Presently No crossfill .

hmm .. so it can be used only as a popup window if I understand correctly ...

And for online pilots (ivao) If you want to use the TCAS on GTN750 you need add. (Include also for other aircraft with TCAS )

[Entry.x]
Title=IVAO_MTL
PATH=SimObjects\IVAO_MTL
ACTIVE=true
REQUIRED=true

C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\simobjects       (programdata is hidden folder)

hmm .. so it can be used only as a popup window if I understand correctly .

First GTN750 can be embedded in the VC (Ask ray for Mod), it replaces the Pilot MFD, (click for popup.

Second 570 as as popup, although it can also be embedded in VC, but requires code rework.

GTN6750 can display Traffic on map or its own menu. (showing vectors)
