Rex 4 Problem

Featured Replies

Eventually had my clouds back: uninstalled/reinstalled client.msi/content.msi/scenery.msi, deleted shaders cache, re-injected  REX4 SC (default size) and yes, It worked.

Had quite a bit of a hard time figuring out how to solve, at the end I decided for an aggressive approach.

Absolutely no idea of what screwed up.

Thanks Mitch and Patrick for the help anyway, although didn't work for me.

Cheers,

Glad you prevailed!   :)))

So after reading this thread, I get the sneaking suspicion that my own issue of no low level clouds is due to not using the slider in REX TD?  I have yet to reinstall TD, but I can do that this evening and then use the slider to see if my clouds show up.  I have to ask a stupid question but why did REX change the program to incorporate this feature?  What was honestly wrong with the way REX was rendering clouds before?  I've been and on/off user of REX for a very long time and up until recently, I never had any issues with REX's cloud textures but now with this new feature, I get screwy weather, sun and rain with no clouds. :(
