April 15, 201610 yr Eventually had my clouds back: uninstalled/reinstalled client.msi/content.msi/scenery.msi, deleted shaders cache, re-injected REX4 SC (default size) and yes, It worked. Had quite a bit of a hard time figuring out how to solve, at the end I decided for an aggressive approach. Absolutely no idea of what screwed up. Thanks Mitch and Patrick for the help anyway, although didn't work for me. Cheers, Glad you prevailed! )) Enjoy the cotton!
April 18, 201610 yr So after reading this thread, I get the sneaking suspicion that my own issue of no low level clouds is due to not using the slider in REX TD? I have yet to reinstall TD, but I can do that this evening and then use the slider to see if my clouds show up. I have to ask a stupid question but why did REX change the program to incorporate this feature? What was honestly wrong with the way REX was rendering clouds before? I've been and on/off user of REX for a very long time and up until recently, I never had any issues with REX's cloud textures but now with this new feature, I get screwy weather, sun and rain with no clouds. :( -Jim Engage, research, inform and make your posts count! -Jim Morvay Origin EON-17SLX - Under the hood: Intel Core i7 7700K at 4.2GHz (Base) 4.6GHz (overclock), nVidia GeForce GTX-1080 Pascal w/8gb vram, 32gb (2x16) Crucial 2400mhz RAM, 3840 x 2160 17.3" IPS w/G-SYNC, Samsung 950 EVO 256GB PCIe m.2 SSD (Primary), Samsung 850 EVO 500gb M.2 (Sim Drive), MS Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit
