April 10, 201610 yr My Traffic Version 6.0a is compatible with P3d V3. So is v5.3(x) It took me only a few minutes to fully install.

No but it interacts with it, giving clearances etc. It's a really good program if you like flying IFR with SID and STAR terminal procedures, it controls your whole flight from startup, pushback takeoff cruise decent, shutdown. It provides background ATC and is always evolving for the better.
