April 27, 201610 yr Commercial Member Hi Why on the PC-24 you only see a small cover behind the front wheel and not two panel on side before the wheel? Never seen such on a plane and need that data for modeling. How is the front landing gear covered? Thanks
April 27, 201610 yr Iris modeled theirs with two long flaps either side, although I have never seen a real photo with them open. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=PC-24&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjq8eGk667MAhWBLsAKHS53BSEQ_AUIBygB&biw=1400&bih=881#imgrc=QW7ZCD8D7l9IOM%3A Possibly using this illustration as a guide. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=PC-24&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjq8eGk667MAhWBLsAKHS53BSEQ_AUIBygB&biw=1400&bih=881#tbm=isch&tbs=rimg%3ACbZJAwNKBJs2Ijhcuy41Glks4eFpYYUlpFs2Jblyt7u-a-SwGGCa7d2TZA3BTgrStk_1_1MmEsS8xwkxuPmvlVBOHL8SoSCVy7LjUaWSzhEVkdeDbb07SIKhIJ4WlhhSWkWzYRA8stSdmvyqsqEgkluXK3u75r5BEqrR1onAZVQCoSCbAYYJrt3ZNkEQ8RVbltKGnYKhIJDcFOCtK2T_18RffvR18gU1P4qEgkyYSxLzHCTGxEcxxgnKgPMGyoSCY-a-VUE4cvxEeZQjboNnxkV&q=PC-24&imgrc=CdVlgswf-axY5M%3A
April 27, 201610 yr The flap begind the nose gear is a mechanically linked follow up door. The doors that house the rest of the nose gear are probably hydraulically operated, they open when gear is selected to retract, and close when gear is up and locked. Gulfstream IV and V use similar arrangement, just much larger. Sorry I don't have a photo at the moment. <p>Dassault Falcon, Lear, Embraer and Challenger and Cessna Mechanic.Broadcasting live from former Soviet Missile Silo.Rhys Legge
April 27, 201610 yr Author Commercial Member Yes the two long flaps are only on illustrations but not on the real thing. So I should do flaps that are closed in either positions, only sliding when operating the gear. Ok I'll do that, thanks.
April 29, 201610 yr I would love to fly a virtual PC-24; payware or freeware. Please keep us posted!!! Donald
