No External Lights After Loading Saved Flight

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,

I noticed that after loading a saved flight everything works except the external lights (i.e. Nav, Beacon, etc).  Is this a known "phenomena"?

Apologize if this question was ever asked and answered in the past.

Thanks!

It is if you are loading the saved flight on top of an existing session. Always restart P3D/FSX (you didn't mention which) when loading a flight/scenario.

Hi Dan,

FSX.  No, not on top of another session.  Just loading from the start screen after selecting the 777.

Thanks.

Why are you selecting the 777 prior to loading the flight?

I thought I had to.  Is that what's causing the issue you think?

Thanks.

Most likely.  If you want to load a saved flight, you do not first load the aircraft.  Simply load the saved flight.  The saved flight includes the aircraft along with the panel state and just about everything that was a part of the flight you saved.

Excellent.  Will use this method going forward.

Thanks all!
