October 14, 200520 yr Hi I recently had to abort a manual landing into Menorca as i just couldn't get my 737 to line up with the center of the runway as it "seemed" to just be sheering off course. It wasn't until i has another attempt that i realised that my view out of the 2d cockpit had become slightly scewed (this is possible using joystick's tophat) and i just wasn't looking dead ahead!!!My question is this - is there a key combination or setting that will automatically reset the foward 2d cockpit view to dead ahead ?Many thanksGary

October 14, 200520 yr Well it happens when panning is on in 2D mode.FS9.cfgpan_in_cockpit_mode=1 (if you wanna try).@+Jerome -Jerome "In thrust we trust"
October 14, 200520 yr Thanks guys - i guess the word "scew" was a bit ambiguous, pan is what i should have said, sorry...Anyway, both answers should stop it happening again, many thanksGary

October 14, 200520 yr Author Commercial Member It's funny how we all do things we assume are just normal. During the 727 beta testing there was a bit of fuss made about having a lot more hidden clickspots, especially with full screen panels and wing views etc. Getting back to a normal forwad view had never been an issue because I'd always used the spacebar...........seems a lot of others didn't :-)It's even more use in the VC, where everyone pans and you always end with 'not quite right' forward view. http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...BANNER_PAUL.jpg Cheers Paul Golding
October 14, 200520 yr Author Commercial Member Thanks for the reminder Jerome, I've seen in various tips and tweeks posts but never actually bothered with it.Thinking about it, what I do want to sort out is the opposite in the VC because I hate having to pan to side views, I just want to glance at them like you do with 2d panels.http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...BANNER_PAUL.jpg Cheers Paul Golding
